Genesis Drops

In the D-Drops world creators can use their Grimoire NFTs to drop treasures and quests on any land they so desire. However, in the time when there are no such user-generated drops, there will always be Genesis drops. Genesis drops are the treasure that is created from the revenue generated through the different revenue streams in the D-Drops world. There are a total of four standard types of drops called common, uncommon, epic, and rare. These drops each hold a different value and as we progress through the alphabet the drops represent more exclusive and highly valued treasure content. Additionally, there are also the rare genesis drops which are dropped unregularly and very rarely and contain very valuable and perhaps priceless treasure content.
Common This type is a common genesis drop containing *1.000 DOP and has no unlock condition.
Uncommon This type is a frequent genesis drop containing *10.000 DOP and can have track based or time-based unlock challenge as unlock condition.
Epic This type is an uncommon genesis drop containing *100.000 DOP and can have track-based or time-based unlock challenges as unlock conditions.
Rare This type is a rare genesis drop containing *1.000.000 DOP and can have track-based or time-based unlock challenges as unlock conditions.
*Current numbers displayed are placeholders and are flexible in-game.

Quest Drops

Quest drops are tasks dropped by users for other users. There is a description of the task as well as the requirements to complete the quest. The validation is done through a video just like a regular treasure claim. Usually, the proof videos are longer than a regular treasure claim video since there is usually more to prove than just the location of the claim.
Example 1 Quest: "Feed a stray dog" Reward: 2000 DOP
Requirement: "Film yourself buying dog food and feeding it to a stray dog. Note, the video must show the dog eating the food."
Example 2 Quest: "Buy a can of Coca-Cola and give it to a random person." Reward: 1500 DOP Requirement: "Film yourself giving the coke to a random person."

Hidden Treasures

Hidden treasures are not detectable by any radar normal scan. Enhanced scan needs to be used to find hidden treasures. However, since enhanced scans only scan a certain area at the time one needs to have a pretty good idea of where the hidden treasure is to be able to detect it with the enhanced scan. Users can drop hidden treasures and then guide others with clues or treasure maps to the hidden treasure’s location. Once on site one can manually scan the area using the hidden treasure finder utility of their radar.
Clue Drops Clue drops are drops containing a clue or a description of a hidden treasure location. Clue drops are much cheaper than regular drops as they serve the purpose of guiding users to existing treasures.

Custom Drops

Users can create custom drops using their Creator NFT. Depending on their Creator NFT it can be a treasure containing BUSD or other Tokens or NFTs.
Track Challenge Track challengers are created by users, who own the proper creator, for other users they contain a certain challenge with a possible but not mandatory reward. It is a challenge that requires the user to travel a certain path to unlock the treasure chest. If a reward is involved the proof of completion is submitted in form of a video.
Time challenge Time challengers are created by users, who own the proper grimoire, for other users they contain a certain challenge with a possible but not mandatory reward. It is a challenge requiring the user to travel through a specified path or to find a certain number of crystals within a certain time. If a reward is involved the proof of completion is submitted in form of a video. The time is tracked by a smart contract. When the time is up the user is notified.
Unlock criteria Each custom drop can have certain unlock criteria attached to it such as completing a quiz with x amount of right answers, completing a survey, or beating a mini-game. Users can decide for themselves whether and which unlock criteria they add to their custom drop.
The difference between unlocking criteria for custom drops and requirements for quests is that requirements are different in nature as well as proven and validated through our validation system while unlock criteria are enforced in-game.
